Mabrey, Sides tie for third in Greenwood Cup

Talented Tulsa juniors Drew Mabrey and William Sides combined to shoot 12-under par and tie for third in the prestigious Greenwood Cup at River Oaks Country Club in Houston over the weekend. The tournament field consists of top high school players from across the country and particularly the Midwest. Mabrey and Sides combined to shoot rounds of 65-67.

Garrett Endicott and Byungho Lee shot 16-under to win the event. Complete scores are here. 

Jake Hopper of Norman played with a fellow University of Oklahoma commit Karson Grigsby of Abilene, Texas, and the two tied for 20th at 3-under.

In the girls division, Raychel Nelke of Pocola, a University of Oklahoma commit, teamed with Savannah Barber of Fort Worth to take third after rounds of 71-73 to finish at even-par 144.
