Also eligible are students already enrolled in an Oklahoma four-year college or university who have an interest in golf. Previous recipients are not eligible.
The specifics of the criteria and the application form for the Hall of Fame scholarships are both available atwww.oklahomagolfhof.org. The recipients must have an interest in and relationship with the sport of golf, though not necessarily as a member of a competitive team.

Deadline for entry is April 15, 2017. Winners will be announced no later than June 1, 2017.
The initial recipients of the Hall of Fame scholarships in 2016 were Hadley Walters and David Trimble. This year’s recipients will be recognized at the induction ceremony for the 2017 Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame class Oct. 1 at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. The 2017 class will be announced in March.
The Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame in 2016 inducted Nancy Lopez, Tommy Bolt, Jerry Cozby, Labron Harris Sr., W.K. Warren Jr. and W.K. Warren Sr.
“We were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the applicants the scholarship program attracted last year and we look forward to another difficult decision this year,” said Nick Sidorakis, chairman of the Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame Executive Board and general manager at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa. “It’s a great opportunity to help some outstanding young golfers and citizens get off to a great start with their college education.”
