OSU women’s team finishes 14th in Windy City Collegiate

WILMETTE, Ill. – The Oklahoma State women’s golf team wrapped up play at the Windy City Collegiate Championship on Tuesday afternoon.

The Cowgirls finished 14^th after rounds of 321-303-311 (+71) 935 at the Westmoreland Country Club. Southern California notched a five-stroke victory over Arizona State with an even par 864. USC’s Gabriela Ruffels took the individual medalist honors after firing 10-under 206.

Cowgirl Chih-Min Chen was 3-over on the day, and ended the event at 11-over 227. Emma Whitaker finished 63^rd, while Michelle Forsland tied for 64^th and Stephanie Astrup wound up in 66^th.

Faith Hopkins rounded out the Cowgirl lineup in 76^th place at 29-over 245.

The Cowgirls will take a couple of weeks off before returning to play at the Stanford Intercollegiate in Palo Alto, Calif., Oct. 19-21.
