Sadeghy, Scarberry lead qualifying for WOGA State Amateur

Alexis Sadeghy shot an even-par 71 to lead qualifying in championship flight and will have a bye in the first round of match play in the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association State Amateur Championship at Oak Tree National.

Also earning byes were ShaeBug Scarberry with a 73, Megan Blonien with a 76 and Emilie Jackson with a 77.

Other solid scores on the difficult Oak Tree National were 78 by Elizabeth Freeman, 79 from Brinn Fariss, 80 by Sydney Youngblood and 81s from Faith Hopkins, Melissa Eldridge and Ashton Nemacek.
