Son ties for 11th in Symetra Tour event in Kansas

After winning the first stage of LPGA qualifying, Yujeong Son of Norman continued to prove to herself and others that she can compete at the professional level by tying for 11th place in a Symetra Tour event this weekend in Garden City, Kan.

Son shot rounds of 69-70-67 for a 10-under 206 total at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course. She was six shots behind the winner Allyssa Ferrell.
