Tulsa one stroke back in Juli Inkster Collegiate

FAIRFAX, Calif. – The Tulsa women’s golf team sits in second place after two Monday rounds at the Juli Inkster Meadow Club Collegiate. Tulsa carded rounds of 286 and 290 for an even-par 576 at the par-762 Meadow Club, while the Hurricane was paced by freshman Lorena Tseng and senior Johanna Samuelsson.

Tulsa sits just one stroke behind Sacramento State’s 1-under par score of 575.

Tseng is tied for second-place with a 4-under par 140 after rounds of 72 and 68, while Samuelsson sits two strokes back at 1-under par 143 to tie for sixth place.

Freshman Sammy Liu had a solid first round 70, before dropping off in the second round with a score of 78 and finishing the day in 24th place with a 4-over par 148. Sophomore Taylor Dobson is in 27th place with a 149 score, while freshman ShaeLee Scarberry sits in 56th place with a 154 total.

Playing as an individual is Tulsa freshman Jasmine Zhang with a 51st-place score of 153.

Final round action will take place on Tuesday.
