Volunteers needed for 2019 NAIA Women’s Championship

Oklahoma City University is proud to host the 2019 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship at Lincoln Park. The event will bring the 30 best NAIA Women’s Golf Teams to Oklahoma City to enjoy our city and hospitality, contribute to the local economy, and compete to win the National Championship trophy. Hosting the championship will require the assistance of sponsors and volunteers to make sure that we put our best foot forward to create a memorable event. Please consider joining us today to support this important event.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES – Sign up to work as a volunteer at the tournament. Volunteers are needed in areas such as scoring, hospitality, driving range, starters, team check-in, and other areas. Volunteers will be expected to work either a morning shift (approx. 7a.m. to 1pm), and/or afternoon shift (approx.. 12:30pm to 6:30pm) or both. Note that Thursday (May 16th) and Friday (May 17th) will only have one volunteer shift ending at approximately 3pm. Volunteers will receive tournament apparel and meals at the course.

Tournament Schedule:
Monday, May 13, 2019 – Tournament Practice Round – Shotgun start at 10a.m.
Tuesday, May 14, – Morning Tee Times start at 7:30a.m. Afternoon Tee Times begin at 12:30pm
Wednesday, May 15, – Morning Tee Times start at 7:30a.m. Afternoon Tee Times begin at 12:30pm
Thursday, May 16, – Morning Tee Times from 7:30a.m. to 9:45a.m.
Friday, May 17, Morning Tee Times from 7:30a.m. to 9:45a.m.

At the current time we are collecting names of individuals that are interested in volunteering to assist with the event. Final volunteer assignments will be made no later than April 1, 2019.
