Wedel leads Bauchou, McGreevy by single shot in Oklahoma Open

Former Pepperdine golfer Fred Wedel of The Woodlands, Texas, shot a second-round 4-under 66 Friday to take a one-shot lead over former Oklahoma State golfer Zach Bauchou and former Oklahoma golfer Max McGreevy into the final round of the Oklahoma Open.

Bauchou followed his opening round 64 with a 68 on the East Course at Oak Tree Country Club, while McGreevy, who won this event in 2017, fired a 5-under 65 Friday after opening with a 67. Both are at 8-under 132.

Two shots back at 133 are Zander Lozano of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas and first-round leader Sean Romero of Texarkana, Ark., who shot an even-par 70 after his opening 63. Among the 10 golfers within four shots of the lead is Hayden Wood of Edmond, who followed an opening 65 with an even-par 70 and is at 135.
