Looking back at a remarkable year for golf in Oklahoma
This was an incredible year for Oklahoma golf. From hosting the 2022 PGA Championship to the announcements of upcoming events for the Sooner state including two USGA events (the 2024 U.S. Women’s Amateur at Southern Hills and the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club) to the more immediate five-year run of the Compliance Solutions Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour debuting in June at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club and the more recent news that LIV Golf is bringing an event to Cedar Ridge Country Club in May, the state is at the center of important events.
For the Golf Oklahoma print and digital issues, it was a heady year, highlighted by our PGA Championship Preview Issue in April and the two-part 30-year review issues in Aug.-Sept. and Oct.-Nov. Here are links to our five 2022 issues.
